My son said "Mama".
I have never heard anything sweeter in my life.
Cardi and top - gift from MIL, Skirt - Express, Tights - HUE,
Shoes - MJM warehouse, Leg in left corner - Peanut ;)
Plus, I was getting real tired of him only saying Dada all the time!! lol
I wore this outfit out to dinner. I love that my old clothes are fitting again - it's like getting a whole new wardrobe! I last wore this skirt here and am finding that it is quickly becoming one of my favorites, which is funny because I think I wore it once in the years I had it before I got pregnant!
I'm so happy for you!The sweetest sound in the world and it's from your baby! That's what happiness is made of.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit.....loving the shoes...and I too, remember what it felt like the first time my kids said mama.....its a feeling like no other:)

I remember my kids said DaDa only too and I was so tired of it. Congrats! The navy top is so pretty. You look fab!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean! My son just started saying momma a few months ago and before that it was nothing but daddy and dog! :) So glad for you! You look so cute too!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! I"m now referring to you as the incredible shrinking woman!! That baby weight is just flying off you!

Aww, that is so sweet. What a beautiful thing to hear! I love the colors in this look--the teal skirt and navy cardigan look great together!
ReplyDeleteIt took forever for the dude to say Mommy...I remember how awesome it was when he finally did! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteLooking good girl! Awwwww, it's so great to hear that! You just wait until he says "I love you" for the first time - that made my knees weak. Now my girl's favorite thing to say is "I want something!" lol
ReplyDeleteThat is HUGE. Congrats. Was that his first word? Or just the first time he said 'Mama'. My kids have been talking for years now but I will never tire of hearing 'mommy' or 'anne' which is mom in Turkish. Loving your cardigan.
ReplyDeletecongrats on the mama-ness!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww, that is SWEET. Mine also said "dada" before "momma". I think it's easier. Plus in Georgian "deda" means Mommy (and "mama" is "daddy") so I just pretended my babies spoke in Georgian.
