Traditions

Hat - F21, Sunnies - Ebay, Jacket - GAP, Tunic - INC, Leggings - GAP,
Boots - Wanted, Pumpkin - Sun High Orchard :)

My husband and I have been pumpkin and apple picking for years, but this year, it was much more exciting with Peanut!  He's finally at that age where he wants to look at everything and interact with his environment.   True, all he did was grab at the pumpkins and try to eat them (along with about a pound of dirt), but it's the beginning of a great fall tradition for our new little family.

I took forever getting dressed.  I kept thinking - my son is going to look back at these pictures of his first trip to the pumpkin patch - I have to look perfect!  Obviously plaid was a must for a farm trip.  I decided to pair my plaid tunic with leggings and flat boots for comfort since I would be walking through the pumpkins and orchard, and my favorite knit hat to keep the wind from messing up my 'do.  Paired with some large sunnies and I was comfortable and ready for my close up!

I hope Peanut looks back at our pics fondly... :)
