A tale of two pencil skirts

This weekend I had 3 parties to attend in 2 days with 1 baby in tow.  Even though I knew I would be exhausted, I was looking forward to getting a chance to dress up and socialize with adults!
My go to piece for dressing up is a pencil skirt.  I love the way it can be dressed up or down and gives the body a curvy silhouette - very Mad Men!
For my first day, I paired my pencil with a blouse, belt and heeled oxfords:

Blouse - Tucker for Target, Belt - LOFT, Skirt - Express, Sunnies - Ebay,
Bracelet - Honora, Oxfords - Not Rated

For my second performance, I went with a higher waisted pencil skirt with a chiffon button down and leopard heels.  Look at me - some more pattern mixing!

Blouse - F21, Skirt - INC, Belt - INC, Shoes - Shoe Dazzle, Bracelet - Honora,
Wine - Pinot Grigio :)

Doesn't this look delicious? I wish I could say I made it, but it was all Tia - I just thought it made a great prop!
These shoes just make me so happy!  I haven't met a Leopard Print I didn't like.

I had a great time catching up with friends and family but I have to admit - it's good to be home!  Peanut is now taking a nice long nap - it's hard work being so cute and entertaining. :)
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
