It might as well be spring

I am totally ready for spring (aren't we all?!)  So today, since I was stuck inside with a sick Peanut (an ear infection - poor kid!)  I decided to just go for it!  After I got dressed, I totally felt like I was channeling a bit of fifties style with my cardi, capris and ballet flats.

Whenever I dress in all classic pieces, I always try to wear them in a way that is fun and fresh so that I don't look dated.

Cardi - Target w/hand embroidery, Tank - Banana Republic,
Jeans (rolled up) GAP, Shoes - B. Makowski

For this look, I made sure to wear bright colored flats, and I embroidered a cheeky little Vegas gal on my sweater -what shakes up a classic piece more than that? ;)

How do you like to mix up your classic pieces?
