Day 8 - Makin' it great!

LOL sorry - couldn't help myself with the rhyming!

So first of all, I want to say that I have the most fabulous readers ever!!  Seriously, you guys are awesome.  I love reading your comments and they make me so happy! :)
Speaking of happy, I have been getting some AMAZING responses for my new Friday post.  Wait until you read them, they will totally make your day!!  Every one I have read has put a HUGE smile on my face.  Keep them coming!!

So, onto outfit number 8:

You will notice that I am poising with slippers on.  I thought you should all have a glimpse of what I wear around the house.  While I would love to wear my "outdoor" shoes all day, now that Peanut is rolling EVERYWHERE, I try to not track all the outside stuff in.

Added accessories: Slippers - Banana Republic Outlet, Scarf - Shoedazzle

Today I had my neighbor who lives in my building over for coffee.  We actually met yesterday at my mommy meetup and discovered we live only two floors away from each other!  That's one of the (many!) things I love about living in a city!   It's so great having mommies around to hang with during the day - there is so much for us to do!  Our next trip - going to the movie theater with babies in tow to see a matinée.  Which movie?  No idea - I'm just so excited to go see one before it's out on DVD!

I will leave you now with a picture of the shoes I wore when I left the house, although I thought my slippers matched pretty well! :)

Who would've thought a leopard shoe with a red strap would play such a versatile role in my wardrobe?

  3. Your hair looks fabulous! It was kind of funny when I read your last post telling how you had to do makeup for a wedding. That is where I will be this coming Saturday. 1 Bride and 8 bridesmaids! whew!

  10. Love the look! And I love your shoes and your slippers. I'll take one of each please :) And thanks for the link to the article in the NY Times. Just reading it got me more and more excited for the turbans! I am in love with them because some of my 1950s role models were photographed in them. Sorry for the long post, have a good day!
