on the road again!
So since we were in wine country, we decided to do as the natives do and sample the local fare! Tia, Hubby, Peanut and I went to a few of the local wineries and had so much fun wine tasting (don't worry, Peanut just watched :) ). Tia had never been before and was so excited to find out that they let you try everything for next to nothing! (Although we picked up some "souvenirs"). Hubby was so sweet and decided to let Tia and I have some sister time and go into a few wineries on our own while he napped in the car with Peanut. We drank, we laughed, and of course, couldn't resist a photo op among the grapes! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. :) That night we went out for a family dinner and then Monday morning it was back in the car and back to reality.
We all had a great time and it was an amazing trip. Peanut was an absolute angel and was a total trooper during the 5+ hour car ride there and back. We loved having Tia with us and it was so nice having Hubby all to ourselves for 4 days without him thinking about work.
