Playing with patterns

I've always wanted to be able to mix patterns, but was never really sure how to do it. Then, this morning when I woke up, I decided - today's the day! For my first try, I decided to go with two different patterns in the same color. When I first put on this outfit my first thought was - how did I not start doing this sooner?! I was hooked. I love the way the shirt and blazer complement each other even though the patterns are completely different.

I feel like a whole new world has opened for me in my closet (and not in a Narnia way, although that would be cool). Stay tuned for lots more pattern mixes!
