Prim and Proper

I feel very prim and proper in my outfit today.  It started out simple with a button down and my oh-so-loved jeans, but it is still ridiculously cold and windy here so I threw on my (one and only) cashmere cardi.

Cardi - Brooks Brothers, Blouse - Calvin Klein, Jeans - Express, Shoes - Calvin Klein

I feel very put together in this outfit - like I am ready to do a business deal, which is good because I had to go to the restaurant I am throwing my 5th anniversary party at to discuss the menu.  Being the super anal party planner I am, I had to make sure they got every last detail right, which included me adding things not usually on their menu, so we had to bring the chef in on our meeting.  Hey, if you don't ask, you don't know, right?  :)

The woman I am working with asked me if I was a professional party planner - perhaps I missed my calling! lol

Those shoes are so fabulous...not only do you look super important in them but I bet they make the perfect "I'm important" click while walking on hard surfaces!!

  7. I love this look--I always lean towards clean, classic looks like this! And your 5th anniversary party sounds fun! I wish I had better party planning skills--could you pass some over my way?
